Created by Non-Profit Association Generation Female, GENERATION IMPACT 2030 is a comprehensive certification methodology and standard that assesses companies’ impact across the key pillars of people, planet, governance and prosperity, via third-party audit.

GENERATION IMPACT 2030 ESG Certification offers globally-recognized proof of expertise in ESG, via independent and verified certification of expertise in, commitment to and application of positive business practices and standards.

It allows organizations a reliable and efficient way of benchmarking company standards and policies, enabling a clear understanding of where the organization stands and how far it needs to go. GENERATION IMPACT 2030 is a clear and powerful 3rd party validation of companies’ commitment to a positive impact and sustainable value creation.
Based on third party audit review, GENERATION IMPACT 2030 ESG certification can be issued from 1 of 4 levels to support continued improvement.
The evaluation metrics have been organized under four pillars aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as principal ESG domains, and have been selected for their universality across industries, sectors and business models.
The certification standard has been developed in compliance with the leading ESG standard-setters:
GRI and EFRAG are pleased to confirm that they have achieved a high level of interoperability between their respective standards in relation to impact reporting.
GRI and EFRAG publish a joint statement on the high level of interoperability achieved between the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the GRI Standards.
Following the requirement of the CSRD to adopt a double materiality approach and to take account of existing standards, ESRS and GRI definitions, concepts and disclosures regarding impacts are fully or, when full alignment was not possible due to the content of the CSRD mandate, closely aligned.
Existing GRI reporters will be well prepared to report under the ESRS. Entities reporting under ESRS are considered as reporting with reference to the GRI Standards and will therefore avoid the burden of multiple reporting.
