EFRAG has been awarded the ISAR Honours 2026 International Award for its ESRS Knowledge Hub, an interactive platform designed to make sustainability reporting knowledge accessible and support the practical implementation of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards.
Recognition at UN Trade and Development Session
The award was presented during the ISAR Honours 2026 Ceremony held in Geneva on 1 October as part of the 43rd session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR) of UN Trade and Development. The session convenes international experts and stakeholders to discuss progress regarding the harmonisation and practical implementation of financial and sustainability reporting standards.
EFRAG welcomed the award, highlighting that the recognition underlines the importance of accessible digital infrastructure in supporting the international implementation of sustainability reporting standards.
Function of the ESRS Knowledge Hub
The ESRS Knowledge Hub is an interactive digital environment providing access to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), the Voluntary Standard (VS), implementation guidance, educational resources, and digital tools. By consolidating these materials, EFRAG seeks to facilitate practical application and enhance consistency and transparency across corporate sustainability disclosures.
This award follows EFRAG's previous recognition at the ISAR Honours 2025 in the International Category for its Voluntary SME Sustainability Reporting Standard (VSME) initiative, demonstrating the organisation's ongoing focus on supporting stakeholders throughout the evolving reporting environment.
